Building for biodiversity
In a densely populated country like Belgium, the impact of the construction and housing sectors on our environment is enormous. However, that impact doesn’t have to be all negative. On the contrary: new renovation and construction projects can also be a lever for nature restoration.
What to expect?
The climate crisis and biodiversity loss are two sides of the same coin. While climate action can be scaled up internationally, biodiversity primarily requires distinctly local interventions.
At this event, you will discover how the construction industry can support nature and hear from experts in finance, ecology, architecture and government.
why nature-inclusive building pays off,
how climate-positive interventions enhance biodiversity,
what biodiversity means for a healthier environment,
which simple interventions are already possible today.
Programme
