Climate
Our climate is becoming increasingly unstable. Droughts, floods and economic shocks often follow in quick succession. It’s essential that companies and other organisations play their part now to avoid footing the bill later on.

How can we tackle this together?
The transition to a resilient, low-emission economy requires organisations to rethink how they operate. That means working with the entire value chain to find opportunities to dramatically reduce emissions, embrace innovations and firmly embed climate goals in strategic decision-making.
In The Shift’s communities of practice, you’ll work with fellow companies, experts and policymakers to strengthen your climate strategy:

What we stand for
Within The Shift, companies and other organisations are working hard to reduce their emissions, with the ambition of reaching climate neutrality by 2050 at the latest. The focus is on reducing emissions, not offsetting them. Science Based Targets are often the guiding principle, but other methods in line with the international climate consensus are also possible.
A reliable energy supply requires deep-rooted reform: less support for fossil fuels, the phasing out of subsidies for the biggest polluters and higher taxes the most polluting energy sources. This will create a fair price level that encourages innovation and efficiency.
