Belvas has been making organic, Fairtrade chocolate in its climate-friendly factory in Ghislenghien since 2005. As the first ‘organic’ chocolate maker in Europe, Belvas won the EU-EMAS Green Award. With direct partnerships with cocoa farmers and plastic-free packaging, the brand combines top taste with respect for people and the planet.

Beyond Chocolate

Beyond Chocolate brought together chocolate brands, governments, retailers and NGOs in 2018 to make the cocoa chain fairer and more sustainable. The partnership worked towards living incomes for farmers, preventing deforestation and increase transparency, with lasting impact from producer to consumer.
