Driving Culture Change for DEI

An inclusive work culture requires more than intentions, it requires targeted change in behavior and systems. In this session you will discover how to concretely address culture change and embed it in your organization.

What to expect?

Many organizations are taking steps around diversity and inclusion, but come up against the same challenge: how do you make sure this is really alive in the daily operations? Culture change often remains abstract, while it is precisely behavior, leadership and informal norms that make the difference.

In this session, you will make culture change concrete. You’ll learn where the biggest roadblocks are, how to bring stakeholders along, and how to build an inclusive work culture that endures step by step.

You will leave this event with:

Understanding where your organization stands today in terms of inclusive culture,

A concrete framework (ADKAR) to address culture change in a structured way,

Practical tools to engage stakeholders and understand resistance,

initial actions to translate inclusion into behavior and daily decisions.

Reducing bias in decision-making

Decisions are rarely fully objective. In this session, you will explore how bias operates in everyday processes, and how to identify and address it concretely within your organisation.

What to expect?

Whether it concerns recruitment, evaluation, promotion or collaboration, decisions are often shaped by unconscious patterns. That is human, but it comes with consequences: talent remains untapped, opportunities are unevenly distributed, and teams perform below their potential. In this session, we move beyond awareness and focus on how to address bias in a concrete and practical way.

After this session you will have:

insight into where bias most strongly manifests in your decision-making processes,

Concrete examples of how organisations address bias in areas such as recruitment, evaluation and promotion,

Practical tools to make bias open for discussion without increasing resistance,

Initial ideas to adapt your own processes in a feasible way.

Programme

12:15 - 13:00 Lunch
13:00 - 13:30 Check-in and reflection on the previous session

Integrate diversity, equity & inclusion

Why participate?

The job market is changing rapidly, putting organisations under pressure to rethink how they approach talent. A diverse and inclusive culture is no longer a bonus, but a basic condition for staying strong in times of scarcity. Teams perform better when differences are recognised and valued, and when people feel safe and appreciated.

At the same time, expectations around fairness, transparency and wellbeing at work continue to rise. People are looking not just for a job, but for a place where they genuinely feel they belong. Organisations that create such an environment gain in attractiveness, innovation and resilience.

In practice, the path forward is often unclear. Many organisations know what they want to achieve, but struggle with how to get there. This community of practice offers a space to explore those questions together, exchange experiences with peers from other sectors, and gradually embed inclusion as a strategic strength within your organisation.

What to expect?

In an open and supportive environment, guided by experts, participants learn to challenge biases and work constructively with resistance.

You will build a solid business case for diversity, equity and inclusion, with concrete data and insights that you can leverage towards management and colleagues.

You go beyond single actions: with experts and fellow organisations, you translate diversity, equity and inclusion into a reasoned talent strategy that contributes to retention, innovation and competitiveness.

You leave not only with new insights, but also with concrete tools, measurement instruments and tested methods that your organisation can apply immediately.

Each session is hosted by one of the participating organisations. This creates extra inspiration, offers a glimpse into different working contexts and makes the learning immediately tangible. As the community operates bilingually, everyone speaks in the language they feel most comfortable with, while presentations are mainly given in English.

What we stand for

In today’s “war for talent”, it is vital to attract and retain the best and brightest. Organisations that focus on playing to the strengths of their employees, regardless of their background, remain competitive and agile. This is a strategic approach that goes beyond temporary or ad hoc initiatives. By bringing a broader range of perspectives to the table, an organisation becomes stronger and better able to respond to future challenges.
